But halfway through the writing of Titan Mage Ruin, the Indigo Gryphon crew sprang into my head, and they WOULD. NOT. LEAVE. They weren’t even supposed to be in Titan Mage, but they crashed their way in at the end of Titan Mage #2 and they’ve been banging around in my head ever since.

Enough that, if I didn’t give them their own series, they were just going to take over Locke’s. 😆

(Basically I wrote this series so they’d stop holding my brain hostage.)

Titan Mage Havoc is a teensy bit different from mainline Titan Mage. Oh, it’s still got the hot girls and giant robots you know and love, but it’s less harem, more … serial monogamy. Think James Bond and his Bond Girls. We’ll call these the Havoc Girls.

It’s also a love letter to big manly explosive action-adventure. Think Clive Cussler with giant robots, and then apply it to every action-adventure trope.

The 5.5×16.5″ one is my favorite, even if it’s a little narrow, because it shows the whole vertical artwork.

The others are horizontal snippets of the art, but the 8.5×11″ is a nice bulletin-board size, and the 11×16.5″ makes for great refrigerator art.

2024 is turning into our CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP year, so hey, here’s another pre-order! 😄

At last year’s FantaSci, editor Rob Howell told me he was putting together an anthology of heroic people doing noble deeds and asked if I’d be willing to contribute a Titan Mage story.

Since Titan Mage is chock full of heroic people doing noble stuff, no way was I gonna say no!

My entry in this one continues the adventures set up in Giant Freakin’ Robots. Titled “Romancing Some Rock,” it follows Rion and Sevas as they help a hot girl escape her crappy Vasori family by adventuring for a neat shiny rock. 💎 As Adventure Heroes do.

It’s a fun, wild read that plays on a lot of my favorite adventure movie tropes. (If you’re wondering whether the title is a reference to Romancing the Stone, you’ll be pleased to know there’s a beer in this story named Jewel of Denial. 😉)

BTW, we’re going to be guests at FantaSci in Durham, NC on April 19th-21st, so if you want to hang out in person, come see us!

Hey, y’all! If you like to read novels before their official release, then it’s a crazy-good time to be on the Apprentice Mage+ tiers of my Patreon.😄

Long story short, while I was drafting my latest, Monster Girl Tamer #1, my husband Jacob had a little break in his writing schedule and decided to fill it with … more writing. Which resulted in us collaborating on Blood Knight #1: Vampire Slayer.

And since a recent surgery* put me a little behind on posting Monster Girl Tamer, I opted to fill those days with the rejected draft of my next Titan Mage novel, Titan Mage Defender (along with commentary on why I rejected it 😮).
