SURPRISE, Y’ALL! đ I’ve been meaning to give Royal Road and ScribbleHub a try for a while, and after Catgirls from Outer Space‘s delayed pre-order kerfuffle on Amazon, figured I might as well try it with my next book.
That said, Titan Mage Havoc and the Frigid Flame has now started on both sites! đ The version posted there will be the polished, edited version, so there will be some slight differences between that one and the version posted on Patreon.
Also, because of site rules, Royal Road’s version is Fade-to-Black, while ScribbleHub’s is the official … NOT Fade-to-Black version.
The first 15 chapters will drop today (which, technically, is the first 7 on Patreon, since I split up that version to proper webnovel length), with a chapter to follow at 12pm every day until completion! đ
Enjoy!

BLURB AND STUFF:
Before the Blue Heron … there was the Indigo Gryphon.
Titan Mage Orion âRionâ Havoc has a reputation to match his nameâand thatâs exactly what the captain of the airship Indigo Gryphon is looking for.
The world of Haven is an adventurerâs paradise, brimming with mysterious ruins, ancient artifacts, and dangerous secret powers the Arcane Indexâs combat archaeologists just canât help but unleash. Fortunately, the Index has a protocol for that, and it involves giant mechs called titansâand their pilots, the titan mages.

When mousy archaeologist Mery Arkady hires the Indy for an expedition to the lost city of Aeterna, Rion fully expects danger and derring-do. He even expects her to have more secrets than sheâs letting on.
What he doesnât expect is to be joined by Sanja Grimesâa rough and tumble titan mage, a vigorous partner in rank and in bed ⌠and the one who got away.
Nor did he expect their shared academy rival Nepherik Damian Oldershaw to show up, suspiciously interested in Meryâs expedition and as vicious as he is vindictive.
Even in an adventure that takes them through monster-infested ruins, sky pirate territories, untamed jungles, and lost cities, their greatest threat might be from their own pasts.
WARNING: Titan Mage Havoc is a fun mecha fantasy adventure where the hero saves the day and gets all the girls. (So donât read it and then complain about the spice. Yâall know exactly what youâre getting into.)
AUTHOR’S NOTE:
Titan Mage Havoc is a bit of an odd duck, as my series go.
It started as a love letter to Clive Cussler-style action-adventure, just with giant robots and a James Bond-style serial mono-romance ⌠but Iâm a harem author, after all, and apparently I just canât suppress that harem instinct.
My characters also live so vividly in my head, I frequently say they write themselves. The archaeologist Mery was supposed to be a one-book girl, but about halfway through this one, she decided, âNope, Iâm coming back for another.â Around that same time, many other women Iâd intended as potential LIs started saying the same thing.
But I liked what Iâd already written enough that I didnât want to restructure it as a traditional harem novel.
Havoc, then, is a slight twist on the genre you know and love.
In it, the MC of course gets all the girls, but the road to those romances is a little more complex than in a typical harem. Mery is an absolute, unsubtle ride-or-die for MC titan mage Rionâand while fellow titan mage Sanja is ride-or-die, too, her romance is a bit more ⌠complicated. (Also, technically this book ends as a menage rather than a strict MFFF+ harem, but it will grow to a true harem in subsequent books.)
Also, rather than a straightforward single-point-of-view storyline, you get the perspective of Rionâs engineer and brother-in-all-but-blood Sevas, exploring their strong friendshipâand a secondary, slow burn romance between Sevas and their captainâs daughter, Aster.
The result is a veritable variety pack of relationship typesâromantic, familial, and found familialâbut still wrapped in the context of a big stompy robot action-adventure. Itâs a little different from what youâre used to from Titan Mage, but I hope you enjoy it!
